Hi! Let us introduce ourselves...

We're Sue & Mitch Trigger, lucky enough to be married to each other AND to serve in ministry together as co-pastors in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Our paths to ministry were very different, UNTIL they merged! This website is for the folks who are curious about our ministry, for our family & friends, and for anyone that might like to use some of the resources we'll share.
In 2018, after 18 years in the Northeast and 12 wonderful years serving First Presbyterian Church of Rockaway, New Jersey (as well as Mt. Freedom Presbyterian Church, Hildale Park Presbyterian in Cedar Knolls, and Mine Hill Presbyterian Church), we are now the co-pastors of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, Kansas. As pastors, we do the "usual" work of ministry - leading worship, writing sermons, doing pastoral care, leading our congregations in a changing society - but when we combine our individual talents, we're also able to:
SPIRITUAL PRESENTS is the page for Sue's liturgical creations. Sue has made stoles for pastors, elders, presbytery moderators, and many others, often with a design unique for that person. She's also made complete liturgical vestments for congregations for all seasons of the church, for presbyteries for special occasions, and even the chapel at one of our Presbyterian colleges! Sue's goal is to make high quality vestments at affordable prices so that any individual or congregation can afford to update their look.

Middle East Witness Delegation
In the summer of 2013, Mitch was chosen to be part of a Presbyterian Peace Fellowship/InterFaith Peace Builders Middle East Witness delegation. The group was made up of Presbyterians from all over the country, from 19 years old to "experienced," including pastors, students, church staff, and elders. It was an eye-opening experience. You can see picture from the trip and read some of Mitch's reflections on the 2014 InterFaith Peace Builders page on this website.

"Up on the Rooftop" Concert 12/7/12![]() On December 7, 2012, our "Up on the Rooftop" fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy storm damage was held at the church. A number of wonderful acts performed, including a great friend, Jeremy Galyon. Just a couple of weeks before the concert, we had the pleasure of hearing Jeremy perform on the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage of Carnegie Hall, when he sang solos in Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Hodie" and John Rutter's "Mass of the Children," conducted by Rutter himself. It was a blessing to have Jeremy donate his time for our fundraiser.
Also singing in the concert was Sue! With the Christmas holiday right around the corner,
it was only right that she sing "O Holy Night." |
